Dress Code

Girls Uniform

The following items must be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara:

• Green Plaid Drop Waist Jumper
• Yellow Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Peter Pan Collar Blouse with embroidered NWP logo
• Graphite Twill Pants
• Note: these pants are different than those required for grades K,1,5,6,7
• Green V-Neck Cardigan Sweater with embroidered yellow globe logo
• Green Plaid Girls’ Criss-Cross Tie (optional)

The following items do not have to purchased form Flynn and O’Hara:

• Hunter green knee-high socks or tights
• Black shoes or loafers, or,
• All black or all white athletic shoes

Boys Uniform

The following items must be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara:

• Yellow Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Dress Shirt with embroidered embroidered NWP logo
• Graphite Twill Pants
• Note: these pants are different from those required for grades K,1,5,6,7.
• Green V-Neck Cardigan Sweater with embroidered yellow globe logo

The following items do not have to purchased form Flynn and O’Hara:

• Black Leather Belt
• Black or Gray Crew Socks
• Black shoes or loafers, or,
• All black or all white athletic shoes

Girls Uniform

The following items must be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara:

• Yellow Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt with embroidered NWP logo. Note: this shirt is different from that required for grades 2-4.
• Green V-Neck Cardigan Sweater, or V-Neck Pullover Sweater, or Neck Sweater Vest, or Full-Zip Fleece Jacket, or Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt, or Heavyweight Crewneck Sweatshirt with embroidered NPW logo. Note: Uniform Shirt and tie must be worn under the outerwear.
• SA Charcoal Girls’ Flat Front Slacks. Note: these pants are different from those required for grades K-7.
• SA Charcoal 2 Pleat Skort. Notes: Skorts cannot be shorter than four inches above the knee. When wearing the skort stockings must be worn during the winter season and knee-highs (solid white, solid gray, solid hunter green) during Fall and Spring.
• Green, Grey, & Gold Striped Tie (optional)

• Black Dress Belt
• Black shoes or loafers, or,
• All black or all white athletic shoes

Boys Uniform

The following items must be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara:

• Yellow Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt with embroidered NWP logo. Note: this shirt is different from that required for grades 2-4.
• Green V-Neck Cardigan Sweater, or V-Neck Pullover Sweater, or V-Neck Sweater Vest, or Full-Zip Fleece Jacket, or Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt, or Heavyweight Crewneck Sweatshirt with embroidered NPW logo
  Note: Uniform Shirt and tie must be worn under the outerwear.
• SA Charcoal Men’s Classic Pants. Note: these pants are different from those required for grades K-7.
• Green, Grey, & Gold Striped Tie (optional)

The following items do not have to purchased form Flynn and O’Hara:

• Black Dress Belt
• Black shoes or loafers, or,
• All black or all white athletic shoes

Only Flynn and O’Hara products are considered to be “in uniform.” If families decide to buy items elsewhere, they may not be acceptable for the school. Such purchases may cause unnecessary additional costs for families.

Outerwear

Only grade-appropriate uniform outerwear (Green V-Neck Cardigan Sweater, V-Neck Pullover Sweater, V-Neck Sweater Vest, Full-Zip Fleece Jacket, Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt, or Heavyweight Crewneck Sweatshirt with embroidered NPW logo) may be worn on-campus. Sweater, hoodie, fleece, vest, with NWP Logo may be worn on campus. If your child is going to wear a sweater, hoodie or sweatshirt to school, it must be NPW uniform outerwear.

School Shorts Policy

School gray shorts may be worn from September to October 15th and from May 15th until the end of the school year.

Physical Education (PE) Uniform

The following items must be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara to be worn for PE classes:

• Gold Short Sleeve T-Shirt with heat transferred logo
• Hunter Micromesh Gym Shorts with heat transferred logo (They cannot be shorter than four inches above the knee.)
• Hunter Heavyweight Sweatpants with heat transferred logo

Footwear

Black shoes, loafers or all black or all white athletic shoes can be worn and do not have to be purchased at Flynn and O’Hara. On days the scholar has PE class, the scholar can wear any type of sneaker to school.

Other Uniform Notes

• Special school wear such as athletic shirts, 8th grade shirts, activity shirts and testing shirts may only be worn on the days permitted.
• Belts: Pants for both male and female scholars must be secured around the waist with a dress belt.
• Headbands should be solid black, white or forest green.
• Leggings, tights, stockings, or socks (when worn with shorts) must be solid black, white or hunter green.
