Principal’s Message

Welcome to the 2023-2024 New World Prep school year. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces in the halls of our Main Campus. I also extend a special welcome to the new families that made a choice to become part of the New World Prep community this year, especially those joining us as parents of Kindergarten and 1st Graders at our South Campus.

As I begin my fifth year as the principal of New World Prep, I realize how lucky I am to serve in this position. I began working at New World Prep as a founding teacher, 9 years ago, teaching 6th grade Science. Over the years I worked closely with the teachers and the curriculum in different leadership roles and I loved getting a deeper sense of the exceptional work and dedication our teachers and staff bring to the table every day. My vision for New World Prep is to continue providing scholars with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. We achieve this goal by working with all of the scholars and making connections with the many families that comprise our community. We have been able to strengthen these relationships and build upon our partnerships over the years.

As principal, I am committed to upholding New World Prep’s long history of promoting partnership between home and school to provide the most supportive, rigorous, and individualized education possible. You are your child’s first and best teacher. The following skill areas are necessary for them to access academic teaching. These are also skills that will help them be successful in life.
• The value of wanting to learn what is being taught
• The self discipline to practice it over again and again to know it
• The guidance to always do their best work
• The attitude that if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, and try again
• The belief that their education is a priority in their life
• Being organized and neat in their work

We have a dedicated teaching staff that provide a quality learning experience for our scholars. Our support staff provide a safe, clean, and caring learning environment. But most importantly, we have amazing scholars. It is a joy working with our scholars and watching them grow.
I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you as the school year progresses. Thank you for choosing New World Prep, and trusting us to teach, love, and appreciate your wonderful children. We continuously strive to build our programs and improve our curriculum to provide the most enriching opportunities for our scholars, staff and families.
